Anthem is a master-planned community in Henderson, Nevada, on the hillside at the south end of the Las Vegas Valley. It was built by Del Webb and held its grand opening on October 24, 1998. Anthem is not its own city. It sits inside the City of Henderson.
The Anthem Community Council says Anthem is made up of six separate communities: Sun City Anthem, Anthem Country Club, Coventry, Solera, Anthem Highlands and Terra Bella. Ask about dues and rules for the exact neighborhood you like.
Yes. Sun City Anthem is a 55+ community. Its association says at least 80% of homes must have at least one person age 55 or older living there, and people under 19 may visit but may not live there. Solera was also planned as an age-restricted community, while Anthem Highlands was planned for all ages.
Anthem Hills Park, at 2256 N. Reunion Dr., is a City of Henderson park and the Anthem East Trailhead. It has ball fields, basketball and volleyball courts, a skate park, roller hockey, a playground, picnic shelters and walking trails.
Public schools in Anthem are part of the Clark County School District. School zones can change from year to year, so check any address with the district's Zoning Search at ccsd.net/zoning before you buy.
